The Things We Do For Love

I'm currently standing in four inch heels in a bathroom stall in a public building, with my dress around my waist and my bra off, so I can pump. Oh, the glamorous life of a working mother. There were just no other options, and I really had to pump. I guess I should be thankful for modern technology--i.e., the speedy, light modern pump that fits easily in my bag and is done in 10 minutes in a pinch, and the fancy cell phone that let's me blog with one hand.

You gotta do what you gotta do!

I have pumped while driving. How is that for multitasking?

I'm curious, what pump do you have?

I think one of my low points was pumping in the stall of a bathroom of a football stadium during a U2 concert. It was awkward and uncomfortable to say the least but I was sooooo greatful for my SIL getting me out of the house for the first time in too long.

Please forgive me if this comes out wrong -- I've never breastfed or pumped -- but this post struck me as utterly hilarious ... It's so so SO typical of the crazy things we mothers do for our beloved babies, things that we never could have dreamed of when we were imagining what being a mom might be like : )

You are a hilariously funny girl my friend! And I know you wouldn't change it for the world!
