RE Visit P.S.

I sort of forgot the most important part. He doesn't think I'm going to have any problem having a successful pregnancy, "with a little help." In addition to the shots, he also thinks I'll need progesterone supplementation through the early part of the pregnancy. And, he thinks I need an OB who is closer to my house than my present one, and had several recommendations.

I'm glad we didn't wait any longer to see the RE. If the problem is a lining issue, I would've been really upset if we'd kept having m/c, only to discover that.

Sounds like a great RE!!!! I'm wishing you lots of luck! All his advice sounded very sound to me. I think he's looking to try to get your cycle close to 28 days instead of longer in order to ensure the egg quality you will get and to make sure that's synchronized with your lining and such. Hang in there!

I am so glad the RE is wonderful! That is fantastic. It is so nice to have a plan. It makes a big difference in your attitude.

That is good news! I did the progesterone with IVF #1 and it wasn't too bad...kind of messy (suppositories), but not too bad.

And you're right...better to try that now!
